It saddens me that there are judges like Cannon mixed in with true judges like Dearie and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. How low can you go? When Trump was elected and the MAGA cult grew, everyone derided South Carolina congressman Jim Clyburn, a student of history, when he said the events occurring in the U.S. were eeringly similar to 1930s Germany. Many of us felt the same way. The Big Lie sealed the comparison for me. Is the following quote from Mein Kampf of the Art of the Deal?
“The size of a lie is a definite factor in causing it to be believed, for the vast masses of a nation are in the depths of their hearts more easily deceived than they are consciously and intentionally bad. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders them a more easy prey to a big lie than a small one...."
The best explanation to explain MAGA is this from the 1930s:
“The essence of Propaganda consists of winning people over to an idea so sincerely, so vitally, that in the end they succumb to it utterly and can never escape from it.”
If Trump is not charged with a crime for stealing highly classified material, there will not be one country in the world that will trust the United States with confidential material...except, of course, Hungary. Turkey and other fascist regimes.
