I have mixed feelings about today's activities.

There's a scene in the film City Slickers where the characters are on horseback, talking about their worst and best days. Bruno Kirby's character says something to the effect of "the day I kicked my father out of our house". He is then asked, what was your best day? He replied, same day.

I feel that way today. Relieved and thankful that NY State and the DOJ are making huge efforts to bring TFG and his horrible spawn to justice. But I am also so very sad that our nation has come to this point; that a president so disowned his oath of office; that he held no allegiance to the values and the rule of law that his 44 predecessors adhered to; that he was so woefully unqualified for this most important position, yet millions of Americans selected him as their candidate, coming under the sway of his purported business acumen and that it was embellished by a thoroughly fake "reality" TV show; that elected officials chose to ignore the racism and bigotry that emanated from even the first day of this horrible man's candidacy.

It is a sad day and a good day to be an American. I have to hope that the best day, when DJT finally gets kicked out of the house, becomes a real reality.

I have a very strong feeling this election is going to be the start of the Year of the Women, the beginning of a new era not just for women but all people. I'm seeing Republican friends especially women ready to hold the entire Republican Party accountable for taking away women's (and soon everyone's) rights by not voting for any Republican (MAGA or not) at any level -- federal, state and local.

The People will unite and shall never be defeated! Gen Z and Women and many others will work together in synergy and non-violence to co-create democracy V2.0, most definitely a more perfect union based on the well-being of ALL the People! We, the People, holding the Rs accountable, all of us together this time! Watch it all blossom...

¡El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!

The people united shall never be defeated!
