I enjoy the comments as much as the wonderful memories. Am 80 now and so proud of that! Weird, huh? My dream was to be a Broadway performer and I certainly collected bunches of memories, still do. Carol Burnett is my favorite. OMG! Laughed until I couldn't breath.🤣
Thank you for the smiles and laughter these clips brought. They have made my heart light again. I love this movie and the reminders of a kinder, gentler world.
"Crescendo of joy," absolutely. Physical comedy doesn't get any better than Donald O'Connor in Make 'Em Laugh. And Singin' In the Rain is joy absolute. Thank you for a perfect start to the week.
With all due respect — and I say this sixth love in my heart for Mr. Rather, who I have looked up to for half a century-plus, and one of my favorite movies — it's SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. No G. Try singing that line with the G in it. It's very difficult.
Also, there's a great joke where the bandleader says "Sing-ing in the rain" near the end of the film, because he doesn't get it.
Just wanted to mention it. Thanks for telling everybody about this delightful film.
Thanks for the smile!! Don't even have to se the movie again to remember it's magic. Oddly enough, just a few days ago a group of fellow volunteers here in Peru were talking about Singing in the Rain and what a fabulous movie it was. Can't wait to get back home and watch it!
It’s talent like these that make me so glad I’m 78, and have lived during the time this type talent was available …unlike today when I haven’t seen a film in years that I’ve wanted to see once, much less the number of times I’ve watched the ones you shared here. Not sure there’s much true talent out there these days anyway! Thanks for sharing.
Always felt Donald was much overlooked as a dancer. Felt he was as good as Gene but not taken seriously. Kelly was an actor & dancer, that's it. (sang, too). But O'Conor was those plus a comedian. His physical comedy rivals the best of them. They don't make like that anymoore, as they say. God bless them & I'm thankful to have seen them as a child.
Wonderful! My mercy I certainly needed the laugh and the awe that was portrayed in these exceptional scenes. It is a wonderful that O'Connor did not break some bones while doing his routine. Just incredible
Wowza.....Made me laugh...👞💐
I really enjoyed this! You’re right, Dan, his comic dancing and timing is almost otherworldly. My groin muscle hurts just watching him! Ha! Lol.
Thank you for the laugh. And I love all the comments too!

Wow!!!!!
These two talented and creative entertainers brought smiles to my face and joy to my soul. Thanks so much for posting!!
Made me laugh and smile and wonder at the athleticism of Donald O'Connor!

Yes, it did make me laugh when I wasn’t just watching with my mouth hanging open! Good Saturday break 😃
