Dear Steady Readers and Subscribers, We are now a little over a month into our newsletter experiment and I couldn't be more excited about how it is going. I hope you are enjoying it as well. What gives me great hope is the community we are building, the engagement with our posts, and how many of you who have signed up to get the newsletter emails.
I would love to be able to listen to your podcasts on an Android phone. It seems to only be available on Apple. Do you know when this might be available?
Subscribed because I hope this thrives. Grew up in a household that watched you. Read What Unites Us and now reading Rather Outspoken. I’m an avid audiobook listener and sincerely hope for audio content here one day.
Understood. Currently too broke to buy pretty much anything, so I very much appreciate that most of the content is free. Telling all my friends and family about you though.
HI there, I have been working as a doctor and am lucky that I have a steady /good income despite the death all around me - I will gift you one if you feel comfortable giving me your email (I have to put that in as a gift)
Perhaps I will be able to only subscribe one time, but I have earmarked money from the next round of Stimulus Check for this very reason. You are just too important not to follow as long as I can. Thank you for all that you do!
Margaret, I have been really lucky working as a doctor and I would be happy to gift you a subscription- if you send me your email or feel comfortable posting it I will.
No, I don't mind it being public as I have a small shop on Ruby Lane. I have for the last year only been selling what is there and not adding new content so as not to go out often. (I am prime to catch this bug so I am very cautious, hence my not affording much.) siemersrafterroom@gmail.com is my email and I thank you so much for your kind gesture.
I am sorry it has taken me awhile to properly thank you for your kind gesture. It has truly touched me that this could be possible, and even more that it has happened to me. Your gift will be paid forward one day and the Good Lord Willing I will even double it. God Bless you and keep you safe.
I always enjoyed reading Dan Rather on Facebook (my husband is not on fb so I shared many articles with him.) My husband enjoyed DRs tweets on Twitter, I’m not on Twitter. I read about Steady on FB and immediately signed up for the email newsletters. I shared that with my husband, and he subscribed. Thank you, Mr Rather, for your insights and history relating to today’s issues. We love when you get snarky, a little humor helps a lot. My friends who believe Qanon, believe Trump, and will only read the underground info and nothing from mainstream media are really missing out because they’re not reading you. It’s real, it’s honest. ❤️

Thank you for the opportunity to support this great resource.
Thank you Dan for your honesty and integrity. It’s like a breath of fresh air.
Thank you for making this possible. These are hard times, your work gives me hope.
Thank you for creating this discussion.
Today, I've become a paid subscriber. Keep up the great work!
Just subscribed and look forward this as often as it comes my way. Have been a “fan” for many years.
I was happy to be able to subscribe right from the start. You've been a voice of calm and reason, my "steady", since the 1960s. Thank you!

It didn't tell me how much it costs. I need to know that.

I am happy to invest in this project keep up the good work.
It would be helpful to see upfront what the suggested subscription is before having to drill down through security and privacy screens, please?
