Queen Latifah (When You’re Good to Mama”) and John C. Reilly (Mister Cellophane”) blow me away every time I view those bravura performances.

I absolutely love 'Chicago'! Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon worked so well together! His choreography was cutting edge back then. I remember watching a documentary about Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon and their relationship. It was excellent! Thank you, Mr. Rather, for reminding me about that fantastic show! Brings a smile to my face thinking about it!

"The story has attracted so many high-profile actresses because the characters are empowered, complex women who are driven yet flawed." YES! Exactly why we need to vote this November! We want our rights BACK!!

Thank you Dan. This is the perfect time for choosing this song. It’s an uplifting song and just what we need.

How fitting, Dan, since All That Jazz is brewing with the Democratic nomination this week! We freedom-lovers are ready to officially celebrate the Harris/Walz ticket. I love this song! Happy Days are here again!

Great start to my Sunday. This week is going to be historic, challenging and the kick-off of a hard-fought campaign to save our country. This music is just what the doctor ordered. Thanks, Dan!

Thanks, Dan! Saw "Chicago" my first year in NYC. Ann Reinking and Bebe Neuwirth. Yowza!

Chicago, the home of my sister and wonderful memories when I visited. Watching any of these actors perform would have been amazing but Lilith ie Bebe would have been the one I most wanted. Thanks for our smile today.

Yes! Lilith! The perfect feminist!! "All That Jazz" and the show Chicago! And the Democrats IN Chicago!! PERFECT!! This song and show should be Kamala's theme this November!! Trump "Had It Comin!" HA! Remember that one???

SSSssshhhh Dan. Don't tell Vance. Even if you're right when you share "The story has attracted so many high-profile actresses because the characters are empowered, complex women who are driven yet flawed." And don't tell Trump - he'll try to shame 'em.

Mr. Rather - This may sound corny but I sure love you! Thanks for that! Let us all enjoy this Democratic Covention. May it be the spark to pull in those voters that have been “on the fence”. VOTE VOTE VOTE

One of my favorite songs from the show is Nowadays and one of the phrases in that song is" In 50 years or so it's all gonna change you know" and yet that's not true at all about this wonderful musical...it's just a great, and fun today as it was almost 50 years ago!!! Aren't we lucky to both live in a time where we can see clips of this AND have someone like Dan Rather to remind us of it!

Thanks Dan! Perfect way to start out any day👏👏👏

Also, there will be no repeat of the 1968 DNC when Mayor Daley called in the national guard to beat the peaceful protesters who were there to protest the Vietnam war. Chicago here, and they’ve been doing a fine job working with local law enforcement and secret service to help keep the peace.

Not so sure about protests of today, though they are misplaced per my view.

They have a designated area for the pro-Palestinians to protest.

Not sure they’ll stay there!

And, lest we forget . . . Liza Minnelli stepped in for Gwen Verdon in the original show in 1975.
