so very true and so worrysome. so corrupt! Do they really think if they take forever to do the "right" thing, that we will forget about it? We the People are getting sick and tired of all

the delay, the lies, the excuses. The Court seems to be corrupt, many of them, if not all, and we are sick of it. Corruption reigns supreme in our United States of America, and it is harming me and my health, my patience, and my faith that goodness will come out of this horror we are enduring. Trump is an evil monster, a criminal, a

pathological liar, a thief, a crook, and a very very despicable low life. He is, in no

way,fit or suitable to be the President of our country. That would be another slap in our faces, another disgraceful and horrifying four years. We cannot do that again, we just cannot. Trump is one of the most hateful people most of us know by now, and it makes us sick and angry that he is not held accountable for his many crimes against our country and her people. Us, We the People, are sick of that uneducated wannabe, and his arrogance and his lies. He must never be allowed into our White House again, never!

Just remember Marianne, Trump couldn’t do this alone. He has an entire political party and REAL billionaires supporting him. To me, this is the most disturbing revelation.

The fact that only 50-years ago, Republicans actually respected the rule of Law. They actually got rid of Nixon and Agnew. Where are these people today?

I soooooo agree with you. Most countries have some form or degree of corruption. No government is perfect and immune. agree completely with you. Many of them have been so corrupt, have gotten away with it, and now feel entitled to keep doing it. It is a terrible disgrace and a very shameful thing for other countries to know and judge us, perhaps, as weak. We are not weak, perhaps we have lost some courage, lost our way being overwhelmed with problems and those that would harm us, would love to see our country destroyed. ARE WE CRAZY? Have we lost our courage, our faith in ourselves to do right and good, not wrong and evil? trump should have been in jail already, if only to keep him from doing more damage. He is so evil and disgusting and despised and is getting away with upsetting our whole country and most of its people, those of us who would never vote for him. That would be like a death sentence for our country and her people, US, and make pukin see us as weak, which he already probably does. Trump is pure evil and he is harming our country terribly. Dan - I'm encouraged - slightly - by some recent comments attributed to Justice Barrett that are clearly a rebuke of Justice Thomas's statements, position and out-of-school activities, because they might be indicative of internal turmoil on the court, in part because of the issue of the case because it's determination could be monumental in the life of, future, and viability of a country that prides itself so heavily upon the rule of law, the tensile strength merits of its legacy of constitutional law and the Supreme Court's record of interpretation of a very weathered and much amended constitution. One that is under siege now, not by the British or today's foreign influences - this is the self-inflicted attack by a large minority of the country upon itself - MAGA are soldiers, Trump is their misguided and morally, character-impaired leader/lightning-rod-of-anger, and the people led by them cannot be anything but sheep by another name. The court, holds the future of the United States in the palm of it's judicial hand. Surely, whichever president appointed those nine justices, a majority of them must agree to strengthen the country or weaken it. If that takes more time, it might be politically motivated - you might be right, but what if there are other reasons? Maybe they DO realize the magnitude of what they are doing, maybe they DO realize the horrible message of a divided court would send - so if it takes a few more days to get to a unanimous or almost-unanimous decision, maybe that's a good investment of time. Whatever scholars opinions are floating around, what matters is what nine people decide will be the definitive law of the land on a singular issue the court has never dealt with before. As a Canadian observer, you might say we don't have a dog in this fight, but I submit that we have a large interest in the future of your country, as we hope you care for ours too.
