Remember all you need is love, John Lennon. Where do you think he learned that from?

I'm not sure which I find more beautiful, her voice or the lyrics. Both are to be enjoyed by endless generations.

Lovely tribute. May Burt Bacharach rest in peace and in song. His music gave me lovely notes in the tapestry of my childhood, a gift that keeps giving in the best ways. "I Say a Little Prayer" ❀️

Since my earliest youth there was one big favorite music I loved to listen to, that of Burt Bacharach. His influence which followed over so many years will not be forgotten and who ignored him did not know what good music is. There are some artists like him who don`t just write songs, they have an impact on music and musicians forever.

A group of us sang that song 🎡 while drawing attention to farmed animal cruelty in a shopping mall in NC . People responded with grace and thanks. Timeless.

It is a shame that more people in the music industry are not like Mr. Bacharach. We still need these wonderful sounds today. I was a different kind of child. I got to see Liberace and Engelbert Humperdinck and in 1985 at the age of 22, I even went to a benefit concert with Placido Domingo, Julie Andrews and John Denver. I was so excited and everyone at work thought I was nuts to listen to their music. We had a surprise guest, Mr. Frank Sinatra and he sang one song, New York New York, and the music and songs were amazing. The next day I found out the VP of the division had went so I started a conversation with him about it at the fax machine and even he was amazed that someone my age would enjoy that. But then he was so kind and said β€œKeep listening to that kind of music…your life will be fuller” and he was so right. Between that music and Elton John, I have loved every moment of that era of music , which really has no era…it’s timeless. RIP Mr. Bacharach. We still will keep listening.
