Thank you Dan - Wonderful, indeed. A great combination of Vivaldi, Keats, and incredibly beautiful violins. Like so many parents, having gone through the agony days of their children "learning to play a violin," there are few instruments to match the caring and loving sound of a well-played violin. This presentation is one I shall "move" to my permanent collection to play in all the autumns remaining to a 90+ year-old man. Thanks again, Dan!
You’ve done it again, Dan. I so needed this. Vivaldi is one of our favorites,, so we listened to the whole thing as we sipped our coffee. And the art…exquisite. Blessings on thy head, kind sir. We’ve moved your name up to the top of the Thanksgiving gratitudes list.
morning , arising from a deep sleep to the music of Vivaldi, walking to a window overlooking the Park with its Autumn color still glowing. Memories flooding back of the happiest days. Best of all ,knowing that I shall be there soon today on a long walk in the Park until finally relaxing on a bench,
there ,listening again to this beautiful music , reading this poetry surrounded by the spectacular color of it all , under a brilliant blue sky. Then ,in mid afternoon, walking again through the Park and a sort distance across 75 th Street. One can visit the magnificent paintings of the “Four Seasons” painted by the 18th Century artist, Fragonard. They are now at the Breuer Gallery having been moved there from the Frick . Enjoying the beauty of the paintings while listening again , thanks to 21st Century technology, to the Four Seasons of Vivaldi. One can have the most intimate Autumn
afternoon , alone with one’s own thoughts , but , not really alone , thanks to your very special Saturday post. That’s what I will be doing , smiling a lot . Wishing you the same kind of Saturday , wherever you are!
You wove together examples of outstanding artistic talent with your choice of music, poetry, and painting for this week’s Smile. Sure lifted my spirits. Thank you for this gift.
My favourite season is autumn. Canada is usually vibrant with leafy colours in the autumn. It is a peaceful comfortable time for me. It carries promise of what is yet to come.
Thank you for Saturday smiles. The paintings are beautiful, the poem is beautiful and your heartfelt words are beautiful. Needed today. I hope you have a lovely thanksgiving with your family.
Saturdays are better when your "Smile" arrives. Thank you for the beautiful link to music and colors of the season.

You reminded me that I LOVE "The Four Seasons". I have it on a cassette tape. Need to find it and figure out how to play it. ;)
A lovely way to awaken on a Saturday
