Love my President! History will be kind and awed because he is one of the very best!

For those of you who believe we should continue fracking to eke out I don't know 1,000,000 more barrels of oil, at the very best which would last exactly how long?? I have one question, can you or your children drink oil? It is a real question, the world is truly running out of fresh water to drink, water their crops with, (i.e. our food), it is not worth it, strongly, very strongly suggest to your congress people and Senators that we need Federally funded, practical means of transportation much like, hate to say it but China, Japan, Europe, and yes San Francisco has, AMEN!

There is an enormous difference between a speech impediment and a president who didn't give a damn about the pandemic because it interfered with his plans of incoming commerce, as well as the seeming promotion of bigotry and division. Speech impediment or not, there is nothing wrong with our current president's thought processes, nothing!! He is dealing with the hand that he was dealt in a stellar way, and he is trying very, very hard to meet the future, with all of its difficulties due to the US's refusal to accept global warming as a reality because they/we want to keep doing what we are/have been doing, and here we are. He is finally getting our nation up to snuff with much of the rest of the planet who are trying to take responsibility and make changes to hopefully ensure a world where our children can grow and thrive.

It’s been years since a State of the Union speech so clearly laid out a common sense set of policies that would benefit all Americans, not just the elite. Was President Biden as eloquent or gifted a speaker as Obama? No. But what I heard resonated with me and I believe sets out a path towards a stronger America.

I am Canadian. I watched President Biden's address and wished that our prime minister could address our nation in similar fashion. His speech was strong, reassuring and uniting. I pray that members of Congress and the Senate respond likewise and work for the good of all Americans and the world.

I watched and thought his speech struck the right note for where we as a nation are now.

I have been reading the group's reactions to the State of the Union speech by President Biden. I am so very heartened by the adjectives used to describe him; caring, humane, compassionate, understanding, down to earth, honest, direct, moral, honorable, decent (that one word appears over and over), good, rational, moderate, inspiring, hopeful, and they go on and on. Let's face it, we have been starved for and deprived of these qualities by his predecessor, having been fed of diet of lies and hatred for five years. Strength of character matters. Joe Biden has strength of character. If we can convince enough people around each of us to make that demand of our leaders, we can together get to where we want and need to be.

It's so refreshing to hear from a president that has his finger on the pulse of the average American than the previous administration. His moral character is more important to me than whether he's able to deliver a speech eloquently. I heard a lot on social media about his verbal delivery. We all stumble over words or loose our thought...it makes us human. I'd much rather have that than a scripted speech spoken from a man who doesn't even believe in what he's saying, much less in the people who he's speaking to.

The SOTU address by President Biden was one of the best I've heard in a long time.

It takes courage for the man to speak at such great length and to keep on speaking. He honors us with his service. Wether he’s seen as good or bad he is an honest caring man. I’m sad that this is not enough for us.

The SoU address was an idealist’s wishlist. It showed he is a good man and wants to improve the nation and make citizens’ lives better. Unfortunately, when you have such immature and demented members of Congress heckling him as you’d expect from junior high students at a school assembly, it showed the long road we’re on to right this country! How Greene and Boebert ever landed in Congress to spread their cult ideas & lunacy is beyond comprehension. There’s also others in Congress who are frightening in their narrow- mindedness and willingness to ignore so many civil liberties that should be guaranteed in the US. While I believe Biden wants to improve life in this country, I hope he can figure out a way to get things done.

I believe president Biden is honorable. So many issues were dropped on him. I remain hopeful but the opposition is evil.😡

I think we are in the hands of a good man. I still feel that him and VicePresidente Harris do not hsve the punch to convince people and to moved than around his programs. I am a discipline Democrat nonetheless.

"A sense of decency and action." I'll certainly take these over the alternatives. Thank you, Dan.

Yes, I watched the State of the Union Address. And I've always liked Biden and his reasonableness. He's never been a hardliner in his political career, it's not part of his persona and never will be probably. But he's a decent leader and he cares about the American people, which the Republicans refuse to acknowledge in their agendas. All any of us can do is follow our dreams and work toward making them real. Sometimes we get lucky and sometimes we don't. Our congressional stalemate is the goal the Republicans have been trying to gain for many years and we just didn't see it coming as it did so incrementally. For too long I think Americans have been content to just watch TV News and then ignore it the rest of the time. And we're paying for that laziness. No single person, including Biden, caused the division in our Congress. I think most of us were "asleep at the wheel." And now we have to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps.

I am a die-hard Biden and Democratic supporter, but I wonder if we are talking in a sound-chamber. It would be great to have you partner with a moderate Republican so we can hear what they think of how the GOP is reacting or what kind of agenda they have. I have the need to hear from a rational Republican and don't really know where to go for that perspective.
