Thank you, for the music Dan Rather. Happy Sunday morning. Reading your book” What Unites Us”. Enjoying every minute of it.

Thank you. And of course a very happy thanksgiving to you and your family. May you continue to enlighten us with the “ News” the rich and the powerful want to hide.

My two cents.

Thank you

Thanks, Dan, for this and EVERY addition to STEADY. Whether you’re writing about the events of the day, of the past, or providing us with another reason to smile, your perspective on life in the USA is wise, insightful, and a reminder that facts matter. Thanks for your playlist - I listen to it often, and appreciate that you’re adding to it regularly now. I wish you and your family a yummy, safe, and happy Thanksgiving!

Dan and team….Great song. It worked then and it works now……”after all these years”. Keep writing, Paul Simon….youve still got the talent. And keep writing Steady, Dan Rather. It too still works.

Remember their Scarborough fair in the Graduate I think, I was graduating from college my self, time sure flies. You gain and you lose so much. Always a trade off.

Happy thanksgiving

“Hello darkness my old friend…” there’s not one of their songs I don’t like

Wish we could all have the ability to turn back the clock.

“” Those were the days my friend “” another song, no pun intended. But like they say : A spoken word, an arrow shot and a departed soul from the body. They never come back.

Happy thanksgiving

Lol - I was about to comment using that song! Boy, does it resonate now, in ways I never expected it would.

Reason to laugh out loud! Thanks, Dan.

And we do need a reason to laugh ... after all these years. I join everyone in thanking Dan. Thanks also to Paul Simon for countless musical memories and to Lorne Michaels/SNL for keeping audiences sanely crazy through humor.

Thanks for the laugh and memory…”Mr. Alienation”!! Wishing you and yours, a very Happy Thanksgiving.

LOL! Still laughing after all these years! SNL was at its best in those early years with the original cast, imo, and after all, Paul Simon DID have a reputation for being a very serious guy. I remember watching the first episode of SNL, and at work the following Monday, all the buzz was about it. Those of us in our mid-20s to mid-30s were saying how great it was that television was FINALLY making shows for US! Thank you for the memories this stirred up, and thank you every day of every week for "Steady".

Oh my gosh, good golly! What a great smile to bring to us today, Mr. Rather! Loved this song and sing along with it every time I hear it! I also had to watch and listen to Mr. Simon and Mr. Chase with the Bodyguard song. It definitely gave me a reason to smile, laugh and chuckle this morning. Thank you for bringing these wonderful memories every week!

Thanks for the smile on this grey, rainy blustery day here in Nova Scotia. Yes, I played both clips.

You bring back great memories with your song choices and Paul Simon is no exception. I remember him with Art Garfunckel and loving their harmonies and songs. Your musical choices are impeccable. I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving and to everyone here who follows you!!
