Our Republicans are proving themselves to be despicable puppets.

Amen and Amen!!! I've come to believe that some things and some people will probably never change, but I know that we serve a God Who will never change, if He says something, you better believe it's going to happen. So I pray for Ketanji Brown as she prepares to take on bigger tasks in her life, that God will stand beside her and lead and guide her on this Political walk that she's about to take. In Jesus'Mighty Name!!!πŸ™πŸΎπŸ˜‡

Thank you. Hope she becomes the next Justice. She is more qualified than many on the court. Republicans showed their bias and ignorance in their questioning and only succeeded in showing her greatness.

The Republicans are an embarrassment to this country. They should be happy to vote for someone more intelligent than they are.

Steady as she goes. There's more than just hope out there, there's people, generations, and movements that are rarely heard from. We're not bombastic, but we pay attention, and we act for peace and democracy.

At least we still have women of such brilliant calibre willing to take the job. KBJ's grilling by various members of Congress was sadly rude and tiring for all to witness. But I suspect it was also grist for her well practiced mill. She's no lightweight and has dealt with difficult situations over the years that would have prepared her for what is this big event in all of our lives. Respect and empathy.

Beautifully written Mr. Rather and Mr. Kirschner. Please accept my appreciation as your words allowed me to step out of my outrage and disgust; to see the light and hope that Judge Jackson does indeed inspire.

She was able to translate her unshakeable belief into behavior that sharply contrasts with the disgraceful behavior of many senators.

I have waited until today to write this. Basically because after reading this wonderful column, I tuned in the rest of the week to listen to this, and watch the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee make complete FOOLS of themselves. Two in particular. Asking the dumbest questions over and over, rudely not allowing an answer to be given. Then the crème-de-la-crème. Arguing with the head of the committee. shows they are not fit to be sitting in that committee.

Thank you, Dan for your eloquence in describing what has become a β€œgotcha ring.” I was thinking of how those Glorifiers Of Putin could face their voters. Unfortunately it’s their voters, who are propping them up. Sad days in our Nation.

There are only three things the GOP finds wrong with KBJ...she's black, she's a woman, and she's a Democratic nominee. IF she were a GOP nominee she'd be PERFECT!
