Perfect Description of the Current Presidential Administration.

Actually though ???

They are just the Current One. All of them have been the same, to one degree or another. We are All just "Baaaaah", Sheep to them.

I heard a quote today, supposedly from Henry Kissinger:

"To be an enemy of the United States is dangerous. To be a friend is fatal".

I recall the time from my own perch as a child being taught spirituals in summer camp, a mixed race camp in NY. We traveled to hear Odetta sing in a huge tent somewhere. Pete Seeger was to be there but can’t remember why he couldn’t make it. It think the trip was 4 hours one way. Anyway, Mr. Seeger came to visit with us at Triwoodie, he was so sorry and wanted to make it up to us. I was sure the progress in our society would continue forever for equality for all. I feel positive this is a problem we have to solve for once and all. Thank you Dan, as always.

Thank you Dan. As I listened I wished that the current Democratic Party had the strength that the black community had and continues to have. We are always telling the Republican congress to get a spine. Democratic Party are you standing tall and strong? Check out your posture when you look in the mirror. We need large rallies across the country organized by the party and let us know where and when to show up. Hope it’s not too late.

Yes , I remember the historical event in our history.

Thank you , Mr. Rather, for sharing. Now, we must all come together as one human race who believes in Democracy, equality and justice for all. We must build a strong force against this evil.

You have always brought the best insight and memories through the 30 or so years I was lucky enough to work with and know you. Thank you from the bottom of my journalistic heart for staying alert, alive, clear of mind and telling it like it is.

I will never forget. I wanted to march but I was working, going to college, and putting my husband through college. These people who marched were heros. King was a HERO for century and forever.

There are several major events in the human history of the 20th Century that must not be forgotten: the Civil Rights Movement, The Holocaust, the Depression, both World Wars and every "military action" since then, and the falling of the Berlin Wall. (What else have I missed?) These are the big, loud events that broke through the silence of daily routine, that brought headlines to the front page and covers of magazines. I grew up with some of these events, yet I feel my understanding of them is minimal and fragmented. How can we make sure our schools and universities treat history with the full respect it deserves rather than shredding it into bits and pieces to be devoured like potato chips while watching TV?
