I save some of your writings for reading when I have time of peace & quiet. I’ve even created a folder in my email account to save the unread writings 😁 My favorite tweet was the “sleepy Joe” tweet & the supporting statement 😉

And the absence of words matters. Acquiescing silence continues to play a role in hate crimes. How do you fight an invisible, unidentified enemy?

I really like the use of your tweets to summarize what you have talked about this week. :)

I have never gone out of my way to implore others to follow someone on Twitter because their tweets are so important. You, sir, hold that distinction. One day, being able to shake your hand, is tops on my bucket list.

Mr. Rather, you're the main account I look forward to reading daily on Twitter.

I follow quite a few people but none can deliver the compassion, decency, wisdom, and humor when needed.

I look forward to reading this outlet and your tweets daily.

I am Canadian but so much of the “news” is about the USA & I’ve followed the last several years especially as I couldn’t believe the last president. That he even was elected after the Obama years seemed impossible. Is he now really going to not be impeached?? I take refuge in “The Magpie”. Thank you!

I love Monet's The Magpie too and have a framed print in my kitchen...even though I live where it hardly ever snows I also love the silently peaceful image.

I enjoy your writing so much. I find it much akin to having Joe Biden in charge of the nation. Familiar leaders whom I can strongly recall in my personal history. Strength, wisdom: marvelously reassuring.

Regarding your tweet that words matter , I grumble every fire season when people use the phrase "fire bug" when what they are referencing is arsonists who are potential murderers. There's nothing cute or amusing about people who set fires in the knowledge that other people may die. If anyone sees a parallel between that general statement and anything going on in Washington this week...well, maybe it only seems apparent to us oldies.
