Knox you really are everything!!! He’s so sweet and innocent it brings joyful tears to my eyes. Thank you Mariah for being so kind to him. He will never forget your kindness!
Thanks for sharing this, it's what Christmas should be about. We need more of this! Merry Christmas to everyone, and may 2023 be a better year for all of us.
Dan, as always thanks for sharing videos that make us smile. Happy holidays to all.
I would like to share a poem by a Black Theologian/educator by the name of Howard Thurman. His poem was put to music by composer Elizabeth Alexander. I was introduced to this beautiful and meaningful poem by a friend that does a holiday sing along party annually. I never hear on the radio or anywhere where holiday music is played. Not sure why it hasn’t been discovered. I haven’t met a soul who has ever heard it. There may be some reason that I’m unaware of, who knows. I even suggested it to our wonderful classical music station (WFMT) in Chicago. The knowledgeable staff member did no know of it either.
Anyway, thought I would share it with you. The poem which, as I said, was put to music is titled: When the Song of the Angels is Stilled. You can find several choral renditions on YouTube. Hope you will check it out and share with others. Thanks
As a retired teacher this especially touched me. The teacher did an excellent job and the students seemed to understand the important of all being included. Knox ‘s Joy spilled over on all of us.
I believe in small miracles happening at Christmas. And they always surprise. This little boy’s full presence and joy in the moment and the music, the teacher and the other children combined to create a real sense of Wonder. Thankyou for sharing this😍and Thankyou Dan and Elliot for making this wonderful space!
Anyone not filled with the JOY of music that Knox has can only be described as a true Grinch!
Thank you, Dan, for sharing this joyous post. It shows how music can connect us all. And let us not forget how we saw a master teacher at work, compassionately and gently keeping Knox connected to the group while allowing him to enthusiastically sing his joy.
Tears in my eyes- priceless!!!
Loved every second of this! What am absolutely wonderful expression of joy and love!
