The fossil fuel companies will be threatened by green energy coming online and will fight tooth and nail to try to stop the competition from green energy or at least impede the competitive threat from green energy.

Climate Realism…..

We now have escalating discord on this important subject of climate change across both experts and policy makers.

Also, we are in the grip of massive disinformation campaigns on this and many other topics that are affecting our future, and it is everyone’s responsibility to review these topics in a broad manner and from many angles and balance and value all facts and positions to gain both clarity and truth.

We need Climate Realism.

We don’t need panic alarmism or climate skepticism or attacks on our existing energy providers …. We need a realistic Climate Change Policy.

We have always had climate change and we are emerging from a cyclical ice age and are in a warming trend, but we as humans continue to be a small bit-player in this change.

We have significant Climate Change Fear Mongering from many institutional level sources that should act far more responsibly.

Climate change is NOT an emergency, and ALL the action should be on local adaption NOT global mitigation such as NetZero.

The two reasons for this approach: -

1/ Science is still very unclear that CO2 is a significant accelerator to global temperature increase with significant science studies that we have included in this report leaning firmly toward a view that we do not have a climate emergency.

2/ Building any human prosperity without CO2 generation is unthinkable and impractical. Many nations will have no option but to use fossil fuels for decades to come, and its use will continue to increase across the globe, and this approach will be essential to support any climate adaption anywhere.

I highly recommend you study these links and the sub-links, and the data contained within them.

It’s critical that doomism not become readily acceptable. Climate scientists are unanimous that despite the coming tipping point, we’re not doomed. Rather, they stress that if we fast-track climate measures, i.e. reducing fossil fuel emissions, global warming can still be stopped. This, of course, all comes down to politics. President Biden incorporated climate policy into every single government agency in his first 100 days in office & ushered the “Inflation Reduction Act” into law. The act can reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030. The world needs a leader on this issue. #VoteBlue24

While all of this may seem biblical to some, the oil industry, climate deniers, the Murdoch news industry along with Saudi Arabia and Russia have promoted a campaign they believe can extend the life of oil and gas development-doomism. The coming tipping point + the unprecedented heat are being used to convince people there is nothing that can be done to stop global warming. Acceptance of this leads to business as usual burning fossil fuels and disengagement from the fight against global warming. It’s critical that doomism not become readily acceptable. If the environment fail, everything fails. It's that simple.

Personally, I so admire Biden. He may be boring, but is so effective and to be admired for his morals as well.

President Biden and his team are doing wonderful things for the American people. It’s a shame that the people who form trump's base will never find out about it. The rest of us don’t realize HOW they see trump. It started with the Russian interference in 2016. The stories they sent out on Facebook glorified Donald Trump as a Dudley Doright hero, riding a white horse to the single-handed rescue of assorted widows and orphans. Part Lone Ranger, part Jesus Christ. If you haven’t received these posts, you’ll never see this because of its abject idiocy. But the abject idiocy is being reinforced daily by Trump’s trolls online. These gullible, well meaning people believe that they are getting communications DIRECTLY from their besieged, almost holy hero. I wish that we could somehow counter this storyline. But unfortunately, we’re more concerned with trump's IRL corruption and criminal activities. They will vote for him again because the average IQ is 100 and the rich like his tax breaks. Unless and until trump's heroism is countered effectively with reality, these people will continue to believe that he is a hero, fighting for THEM against the injustice of the Law and its enforcers. For the love of god, spread reality to these poor dupes.

Biden is showing that his long, long career as a D.C. politician and insider can actually be advantageous and beneficial to the nation at large.

His legacy is likely to be larger and more permanent than most presidents - of either party.

I like it! I can see long game structure. I'm an introvert. That's what we do when the extroverts are spurting stuff from their pie hole...we are considering all possibilities and thinking full picture scenarios way down the line. What may seem like a good idea right now may not be 5 years from now. I'm not saying the A- type or extroverted at work person is wrong for throwing out ideas, I am saying always acting on those ideas because they seem good might not be great and powerful people tend to do this. Trump tended to do this.

We can't expect people to trust a government that topples other democratically elected governments, like Ukraine in 2014, installing a puppet and forcing it to do something we promised Russia we'd never do, push NATO right to the Russian border...Biden could have avoided this war, but went along with his handlers and pushed us into a proxy war, without a thought of the lives of the Ukraine people or the affect on the world food prices... I'm sure I'd do the same if I grew up in Biden's family and circumstances. ... we need to pull together as a nation and look at our soul. Thank you Dan for the positive news, but Joe has to go.

Well what do you know, Fairfield County Ohio is where I live! Mostly rural, but a lot of us live in the Columbus suburbs. While I'm fully on board with these green energy projects, I have to admit that wind turbines and solar farms are not exactly aesthetically pleasing. It would be nice if scientists are working on making them less obtrusive, which would help get people on board with having them in their own back yards. But meanwhile, you'd think they wouldn't cut off their noses to spite their face, and let these money making projects into their communities.
