A con man...??? Are you referring to the batch of contrived charges the DNC fostered to instigate a tryrany of DNC misdeeds..? And, gee - if it isn't the proverbial "pot calling the kettle black"...Biden Crime Syndicate has NO familial boundaries....Preach ONLY AFTER YOU IDIOTS CLEAN UP YOUR OWN CORRUPT CHURCH.
I knew Reagan from his time as Governor in California. His attack on the students by the National Guard. Many were headshots. The soldiers were the same age as the students! He wasn’t that great.
An old-fashioned phrase comes to mind; four-flush. Anyone who knows poker can figure it out. It can end in two ways; an ignominious climb-down or armed robbery.
My grandpa told me if I didn’t like either candidate, choose the one who will do the least damage. Don’t withhold your vote, ever. It’s the most precious right we have!
I believe it was the distaste of Hillary and some help for foreign entities that got him into office. The rest of the possible GOP candidates cowardly backed down for fear of mean tweet and confidence Hillary would win. She had a slim majority of votes but conceded too soon. Hillary wasn’t likable regardless of how much better she would have been rather than Capt Chaos.
How amazing likeability is. Reagan over Mondale, W over Gore and trump over Hilary? Never mind policies that affect the country and one personally. Likability? Give me a break!
It’s the racism they like most about TFG. Don’t kid yourselves, it’s not policies, it’s his nod to racism--to hate freely and openly. That’s the bottom line and what binds them together
To me, The Donald's lifelong obsession with perpetuating fraud after fraud is secondary. The Donald is a guy who prefers to steal a hot dog for dinner rather than buy one for dinner because, to The Donald, the stolen hot dog tastes better. But that is also not the worst of it.
The worst of it is his sexual assault of Ms. Jean Carroll, for which a jury of his peers convicted him as being responsible for, for its commission and for the ensuing slander and libel he inflicted upon the woman afterwards for over twenty years. I have read her testimony. I used to work in a law office as a serial librarian. It was frighteningly obvious from Ms. Carroll's recorded testimony that The Donald KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING WITH EACH MOVE THAT HE MADE AGAINST HER, during the assault. In other words, The Donald has sexually assaulted many women, perhaps hundreds of them, perhaps thousands of them. Tragically every single one of our allies in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia knows this fact. They know when a man regularly assaults women. It's in their perpetual smirk. We the people must wipe that criminal smirk off of The Donald's face, and lock him up in solitary confinement in his own, personal supermax prison, and leave him there for the rest of his natural life.
No, there is NOT sadness in having to face the FACT that such a man became president of the US and may do so again. Being sad at having to face facts is what got us into this political mess in the first place. The fact is that Americans are abysmally uneducated, addicted to fantasies, and as a result, are easily manipulated by conmen like Donald Trump. See, facing a fact is like dousing your head in cold water--it's bracing.
While I completely agree with everything said here but I seriously suggest that there is a larger shame that our country has to accept. Trump wasn't the wizard behind the curtain. He was in obvious & plain sight for decades! A freak, a joke, a fraud. Since its likely hereditary and he got his methods from his father, the Nazi sympathizer Fred Trump and the obvious swindles Donald's children have exhibited, we, our country has to accept what we have done to our democracy. It was all in plain sight America and we have a lot of work to do to restore our status in the world. Shameful!
Can there be a more evil man in the world? Veterans, this draft dodger hates you as well as the service you performed for your country. DO NOT VOTE FOR HIM.
Excellent piece Dan. I don’t understand the throngs of people in this country who choose to follow this con man. Why do you think so many blindly follow him and his lies?

TRUTH...he's a con man, a liar, and a self-absorbed individual who needs to be seen for what he truly is.

Why are his cult followers so loyal? A great question that has many answers.

Let’s hope this sinks in before it is too late.
