UnReal! It Was Murder over Religion and Today It's Murder of a Postal Worker in the Delicatessen Line by a Crazy Woman in NY!

In some ways, I really didn't mind waiting one hour for my TV Dinner to be ready. Like it or not! There's a lot to be said about "The Old Days"! For me that was 1950's through late 1970's. In a way, some of the Best Of Times. INSANITY RULES TODAY

Happy New Year, Dan. ❤️ my husband and I listen to Guy Lombardo on our gramophone every year. We dance a little on New Years at midnight. We love listening from time to time, to old records on the original technology.

“Share a cup of kindness yet.”

Perhaps especially now - even as we gird our loins for Jan. 20, 2025 and into the foreseeably unforeseeable future.

Another song that I love listening too that always brings me a smile is Billy Joel and Elton John and other great singers performing "Piano Man" at the Library of Congress when Bill Joel was being recognized as the winner of the Gershwin Prize. Here's the link to it on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F4MYJIC1sU Enjoy!

Beautiful version of Auld Lang Syne! The Celtic Women also do a wonderful version of the song. It must be those lovely Irish voices, they just give me goosebumps!

1977 was the year I graduated from college. I think I stayed up to watch this. It really did look kind of glamorous.

I am going into 2025 with a lot of trepidation. With that said, I do wish all in this community, your wonderful staff and you and your family a peaceful new year.

Carter’s greatest achievement was the Camp David Accords. He would have done better with Congress if he had chosen people for his administration who had relationships with members or understood the process. Instead, he took the

“Georgia Mafia” who had served with him or advised him as governor when I worked for public health in Georgia. They were smart people but weren’t able to help him get his priorities passed.
