If you like Star Wars you’ll love this tribute to Debbie Reynolds and Carrie fisher Singin’ in the rain

I used to watch this with my son when he was little and we’d sing good morning, good morning! To each other in the morning.

Yessss, to "Make 'em Laugh," Susan! Donald O'Connor was spectacular, underrated (or under-noted) in many of the histories. I must rewatch soon! And if anybody gets a chance to see it on a big screen, in-home or at a cinema), the visual detail of the costumes and sets will wow you all over again!!

I can’t imagine the courage it took for Debbie Reynolds to take that on at 19! So much respect!

I love this movie so much that my daughter gave me the 60th anniversary Collectors' Edition box set - the BlueRay DVD, a book about the movie's making, copies of the 1952 lobby door panels and a Singin' in the Rain umbrella. Happy Sunday! Happy Monday eclipse!

This is my "sunshine" (ha!) movie! Having a bad week? Friday night movie with popcorn is this movie. I had no idea the story behind this number. No one would ever have guessed her to be a novice.

Definitely the best movie musical of all time! Impossible to imagine a nineteen year old with no dance background giving the performance she did.

Though not necessarily The best--and, no, I couldn't pin only one down.

Awesome movie and scene. Donold O'Connor stole that movie. My favorite number in that movie was actually Moses Supposes. .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPBKYwJo3nQ

Thanks for reminding us of this wonderful musical, possibly the GOAT of the genre. Every song is a classic and so is every performance. Even the costumes have stood the test of time.

I have loved this movie for a long, long time, and this number is incomparable. I had heard that Gene Kelly was tough on her--and I have loved him forever, so was sorry to hear this--but look at the results! Magic. Thank you for the backstory--fascinating.
