I will never, ever forget the moon landing. My father, born in 1917, who had to drop out of school in 1932 after his father died to support his mother and little brother, was a huge space enthusiast. I remember both of us being glued to the tv when the lunar module landed. We were likewise enthralled when Armstrong came down the ladder and set foot on the moon. Daddy was a lifelong NASA nerd and also a Sinatra fan so I clearly recall Sinatra’s version of this song. But I do like Ms Krall’s version. Thank you, Mr Rather for this walk down memory lane.
