The "person of interest", armed and dangerous (of course) is still at large, presumably in the Maine woods. He could be anywhere; he may as well be. This can happen literally ANYWHERE in America. This is the reality in America: that our quality of life (and right to life) takes a dive for the sake of a self-serving twisted interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. We deserve better.

If people don't start voting as single-issue voters to preserve democracy on 2024, the US will soon become a country not only of mass shootings every 12.5 hours, but a country where where abortions are banned from conception, contraception is banned, gay marriage and gay rights are banned, book bans are nationalized, unions are banned, public education is eroded, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid are gutted, women's rights are rolled back, voting becomes a privilege vs a right, and a free press is a myth. I could go on.

The point is that gun violence can't be separated from the rise of a theocratic minority, which embraces guns with the same zeal as bibles.

It's all one issue. Democrats are flawed, but they're the only path away from the hellish road we're far along.

So do you blame the Republicans for all those issues?

Also, people that use guns to murder people clearly do not truly understand or believe in the Bible.

What elements of Fascism do you fear that the Republican part will implement?

And letтАЩs be honest, money talks, so sign up on ActBlue and schedule monthly donations to Democrat candidates. We need volunteers and war chests to gain a decisive majority and give the Republican Party time to heal itself.

Vote for Democracy. I want that sign in my front yard in 2024. It says it all.
