No comment necessary, the video clip says it all. Except maybe how lucky we've been to live in the same time as she did and to have the technology to continue to enjoy her gifts to us even though she is gone.

I loved Ms. Lansbury in every role she played. I hope her passing was pain free and fearless. She was a lovely person❣️

Lovely tribute! I think my first encounter with her was when I was a child and Bedknobs and Broomsticks was a delight. Have loved her in everything she was in since then. What a treasure.

Ive often wondered what is the magic element of personna that has always made Angela Lansbury so special to so many of us. For me it's always been her humanity . I had the honor of meeting her after her performance in the play "Duces" . I'm not much on autographs, but I wanted hers. She was so kind and gracious and we actually chatted. She really was a very special person. I admit I felt my eyes getting moist when she was singing in the video. That's the effect she has on people. We will always have her work, and now she has her rest. Thank you Dame Angela Lansbury for giving us so much.

This is the way Angela and many others should be remembered. With a smile.

Another fitting tribute to Angela Lansubury, a top-notch performer.

Children of another time will remember how she brought Mary Norton's Bedknobs and Broomsticks to life in the movie theaters. She provided us with literally decades of entertainment. There have been few like her. Thank you and rest well, Ms. Lansbury.

I remember Dame Angela in Gaslight and Picture of Dorian Gray and National Velvet. Different generation of movies, but oh so good. What a nice person.

To say nothing of her being a proud socialist. Bland NPR also neglected to tell this important part of who she was. Only on Democracy Now! did I learn of this after she died.

Angela was a beautiful talented actress .Such a lovely person . I will leave a funeral poem .

If I should die, and leave you here awhile

Be not like others sore undone, who keep

Long vigils by the silent dust and weep.

For my sake, turn again to life, and smile,

Nerving thy heart and trembling hand to do

Something to comfort weaker hearts than thine.

Complete these dear unfinished tasks of mine,

And I, perchance, may therein comfort you!
