We can't win them all but how many of those deniers actually believed in their adopted positions and how many were just jumping on Trump's denier's band wagon in order to get the fat man's support and the MAGA vote. We will see what happens now that the election is over. I had about 8 or 9 candidates I was interested in and so far they all won except one and that race is still undecided.

So in a sentence or two, the crux of the issue is that Democratic presidential candidates have won the popular vote since 1992. Without the Electoral College (or the Supreme Court decision re the 2000 election) Republican candidates haven't won a Presidential Election since 1988. Wow! So we have this circus that is the GOP because people haven't wanted them runnung the Executive branch of government. We need to let this sink in.

Election deniers are appearing on numerous ballots during this election. I have a spin on this strange invasion of mental illness striking so many people all at the same time. The members of the current Republican party are a bunch of slack jawed, spineless, weak kneed, brown nosed fools. Remembering the difference between a brown nose and a kiss ass is depth perception. These "running" Republicans have but one goal in mind, they want to be elected to a position where they won't have to work very hard in order to earn a living. They don't really mush care how they achieve the end they desire so where is the harm in hitching a ride on the denier train. It's not that they really buy into the ridiculous claims set down by Trump they just want the votes they will gain because they now agree with Donald Trump's false election claims. Trumps MAGA base isn't all that well informed and they will cast their support where ever Trump points his little finger. At some point these squatters who sit on a position they know to be wrong will show their true colors and push Trump aside. But for now it's "all in" as they say in Texas. Due to aridification their intestinal fortitude will have to be grown at some point in the future, then perhaps they will finally pass puberty.

Elections results coverage: 124 of 308 election deniers won. That's shocking but better than all of them winning.

When you say that "They understand that major corporations recoil from being associated with hate speech. They know that their brand is unpopular with young voters." how do you deal with the fact that so many of these major corporations that shunned those who promoted discrimination or violence have reversed course and now contributed to those same people?

Yes, what has this to do with mail-in ballots?

I voted Thursday September 29,2022 by absentee ballot because New York State allows the fear of catching COVID-19 as a legitimate excuse for not physically voting at a voting place. If mail in voting or absentee voting is available, then please use it. These two voting options could dramatically shrink the long voting lines at polling places. Please be warned that politicians are going to try to limit or eliminate the right to vote absentee or by mail to try to suppress the votes of those most likely to vote against them. Don't allow pre election polls determine if someone is a shoo in for election. Just get out there and vote paying no attention to subjective pre election polls supported by wealthy interests. These wealthy interests who back these subjective preelection polls are trying to get people complacent enough so they don't end up turning out to vote.

He was not president when they were found at his home, hadn't been for some time. Even if he had the right to take them home while president, he did not have the right to keep them.

We have a preview of what might happen from 2020: remember when only the day’s in person voting had been tabulated but mail in were not yet totaled?

Donald Trump was ahead at that point and wanted to declare victory (actually, I think he did). Exactly what Roger Stone had suggested that he do.

As we know, with all votes counted, the results were just the opposite; he didn’t win. Fast forward to 2022.

This time, several candidates have stated that they “will win” with the implicit understanding that they will not wait, or concede. I expect a flurry of these declarations on Tuesday night. To help ensure a free and fair election, the media could refrain from posting vote tabulations.

That won’t happen but it could aid and abet some of these candidates plans.

I understand that there are many other, competing factors - the media are not the only “ counters”; so are the Parties.

Hyperbole aside, these election results will reveal the true nature of American politics and the U.S. as a whole.

What (to me) seems like a slow march towards isolationism, intolerance, and Christo-Self-Indulgence. has finally crested the hill to plain sight. Is this truly, "the end of Democracy?"

Overall, I suspect this is a mélange of rhetoric, overreaction, exaggeration, and predictive truth.

While a largely conservative administration, House and/or Senate will hardly bring down the walls of law, order, and democracy, the puzzling support of hundreds of election result denying candidates fills me with nothing but discouragement and cynicism.

And, Dan/Elliot, you'll never get me to believe this new form of willful delusion is anything but the direct fault of Donald J "Bonespurs McBraggart" Trump.

When the way people cope with failure or loss boils down to DENYING that failure or loss, the outlook can be considered nothing except darkly grim.

He has heralded and orchestrated an era of asserted ignorance that renders reality to a troublesome element.... one easily rectified by a cheap Jedi mind trick.

And, although I think (HIOPE) this will not result in sure Civil War, there can be no denying the existence of the hoards of hate-charged, selfish, self-righteous, ammosexuals out there spoiling for an apocalyptic cage match with the Left.

And when the pendulum swings Right after this Tuesday, I don't want to hear any Liberal, or Democrat, or left-leaning pundits and populace sniveling that the election was "rigged" or that the Right cheated, or that "life ain't fair."

The only thing to rightly blame will be the collective ignorance of half the nation.
