A symphony orchestra is often used as a metaphor for the emotional power that is possible when many voices join as one. This power, however, is quite literal.
I'm reminded that I can still dislike other's opinions, but not want to exclude them from my circle. This performance of joy was uplifting, and in this current time, I'm moved to tears that such beauty still exists.
I so needed to see something beautiful like this today. Thank you, Mr. Rather, for reminding us that there is so much joy to be celebrated in the world!
Thank you for sharing this, Dan.... I think we all needed it! Let us remember that in the midst of darkness, music is able to shine some light. And joy. Anywhere. I'm thankful.
Oh, just what I needed on another muggy dreary day in the kingdom of pandemic and terrible news! Watching the delight on the children's faces, the little girl shimmying up the lamp post, the baby clapping all on her own, the gentle joy on the elderly woman's face - oh yes, just what I needed! I, too had seen it before but it just goes to show you there can never be enough Beethoven and the Joy he brings us time and time again. Thank you, Dan!
Fabulous. In addition to all of the strife this week, I lost one of my best friends, my cat Chelsea to diabetes. Somehow this was a release for me. Thank you/
Thank you Dan and the Steady team. I needed this so much today. I wish I could say itβs only been a horrible week. The smile and tears while watching this felt so very good. Thank you for reminding me of the humanity that still exists.
