Congratulations Judge Jackson. This has been a long time in coming. You have exhibited the character and intelligence that makes you an excellent choice for a judge on the US Supreme Court.

Thank you for this! Along with my joy over Judge Jackson's confirmation, I have been so disheartened by the overwhelming number of Republicans who voted against it. Thank you for reminding me to focus instead on the amazing accomplishment and not on those who are unwilling to view her confirmation as anything but partisan politics.

This is the first ray of hope I have had for America in a long time. The cruelty of the "interrogation" (confirmation) process was gut-wrenching and embarrassing. That this very intelligent, decent, and accomplished woman prevailed is both a triumph and a relief.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has a beautiful sound! Equal and fair justice shall be pursued. Rising above the fray of the narrow minded bigots with grace speaks so well of our newest Justice.

A time for celebration. An amazing woman, and an amazing woman of color. Thank you for enduring the disgusting display of ignorance by some. You did so with grace and competence.

Mr. Dan's comments on hope and change reminded me of Sarah Palin's snide open question to President Obama during his tenure as POTUS: "How's that hopey-changey thing going now?" Well, Ms. Palin, I haven't forgotten your sour, snarky and petty little shot from the Peanut Gallery, and now I'm happy to say that for right now, in regards to the appointment of Justice Jackson, it's going very well, and thank you for your concern! And, guess who got it started, so many years later? None other that Obama's then-Veep, now the POTUS. So, in a way, you could say that Obama's hope has indeed resulted in positive change (and not just in this case), and hope in change is indeed alive and well. In your face!!!

Hope and change must overcome mountains of obstruction and can often take a long time to manifest, but this is a victory we should all cherish.

I can't express how eager I am to hear Justice Jackson's opinions from the bench. I wonder if she'd one day run for President? President Jackson.....that has nice ring to it.....that's one little hope of my own. Even if she herself does not seek the office, I have absolutely ZERO doubt that she WILL be an enormous inspiration to those like herself that will follow and rise to become leaders of our great nation. Hurrah!

It was maddening to watch white men, whose character and intellect are far inferior to Justice Brown Jackson’s, malign and disrespect her. It was, however, even more satisfying to witness her poise, grace and thoughtfulness in responding (or @ least attempting to respond) to their insulting questions and erroneous insinuations concerning her judicial record. I believe her to be ‘Supremely’ qualified to be a Justice on the highest court of the land and will follow & rejoice in her success in this new role.
