Balancing those opposing realities isn’t simple, and it makes me wonder whether this level of division could eventually test the cohesion of the U.S. federation, even if it doesn’t lead to a formal breakup.

Get smart, creative people to create a campaign (posters, bumper stickers, memes, social media blitz, etc) promoting the idea that
DEMOCRACY IS BEING COOKED....... BUT THE TIME IS NOW TO SAVE IT!
Mobilizing Americans to communicate their solidarity simply and clearly seems critical to getting the masses to unite and begin to convince Senators and Congressmen to get on the right side of history!
Utilize the power of enough people repeating the same message enough times that others start to believe and repeat JUMP NOW!

Who/what group needs to be energized to spearhead the JUMP NOW movement and make every American aware of the crisis and give them to community to join that will deliver the prospect of freedom from chaos and hope for prosperity!
SO happy PA has a democrat Governor Shapiro’s work in protecting our rights, our access to vaccines, and so much more is uplifting. We would be so much worse if another Republican was in office. Corbett was awful and he absolutely would be bowing to Trump.

I think he is against the freedom of thought, the freedom of the economy, the freedom of politics. He´s against freedom alltogether and against development. How can he live with himself? He makes promises which he never keeps, the entire world feels this since he was reelected. Nobody cares for Mr. Trump, yes and he doesn´t listen to the critics, even fires them but expects in return to be followed and listened to every second of our little lives. The poor and helpless are his victims, he is like a shark. Our future is being destroyed everywhere in this world for what reason?
I like the fact that Democratic leaning states are organizing. I am bit confused by this repeated emergency activation of the National Guards. How much authority does POTUS have when it comes to declaring an emergency as it seems there are a lot of emergencies being declared that do not seem to be real. The other area is election process and voter redistricting, is this authority vested in the state rights?
I know Schumer had his reasons. He was on The View explaining them, but I disagreed with them. If the Democrats had stood up to Trump then, we wouldn't be where we are now. At the time I felt Democrats were complicit. I've seen the government shut down before, and it never lasted long. To me, it's the only play now if we don't want to see things snowball worse if Democrats vote in favor of this latest round of preventing the government from shutting down. It will not be near as dire as what will happen of the Democrats capitulate again.

We do need a clear definition of what constitutes an emergency. The word of a paranoic deranged man should not be the criteria.
