I am experiencing a level of dread I have never experienced before. I grew up worrying that the Cold War would erupt hot and destroy the planet. There were strong opinions exchanged but the leaders were adults and acted as such. There are no adults in the room for this war of ego, at least on one side at least. This does not leave me with any confidence that escalation will have a limit, a sensible limit at least.
Very good, but I'll disagree with the proposal that the war started on a while. There's of course his low approval ratings, and the distraction, but trump has been looking towards November. He's always wanted to be a "Wartime President" and he knows that war can rally support at home.
But his war on Iran checks 3 important boxes that make up his base; Neocons, evangelical fundamentalists, and the simple-minded "Get the muslims!". This is about rallying and consolidating his base for the midterms.
All the lies, that's what we endure everyday. This "Administration" is a sham. We the People demand better than this! Our elected officials are supposed to work for us, unless it's The Predator in Chief, who believes we are his slaves. Time to wakeup America 🇺🇸 time to take OUR Country back! Impeach & incarcerate!
This is what happens when The United States elects a man for US President who is been convicted of 34 felonies. What is wrong with US Citizens to elect a man like this? It seems like the American public has been significantly dumbed down. I think so many people don't know where to turn that they feel forced to elect a convicted felon as a US President. I think the United States as a whole has to address why a convicted felon got to become both a candidate for and elected to The US Presidency. This will be a black mark on US History. I think the major mistake we made was to take certain basic things too much for granted. We cannot expect to have a functioning Democracy when too many people do not vote. Either too many people are expecting other people to do the voting for them or they don't feel their votes count. We already have too many people that do not want people to vote against their desired candidate for US President and want to suppress the vote of those people who would most likely vote against their US Presidential candidate.

In the city of Los Angeles, sunny and bright,
Lived a boy who saw neighbors with kindness and light!
Guy Gabaldon was his name, and he learned every word,
Of the Japanese language that he frequently heard! 🏠
He grew up with friends in a house down the way,
And he learned how to speak and he learned how to play!
He didn't know then that the words in his head,

He didn't use bombs and he didn't use might,

The Navy Cross medal was pinned to his chest,
For a courage that stood up to every hard test!
An American hero of Mexican blood,
Who pulled human lives from the war and the mud! 🎖️
His story was told on the big silver screen,
The most amazing thing that the world's ever seen!
"Hell to Eternity" showed all the folks,
That peace isn't just one of history's jokes! 🎬
Against tyranny’s wall, he didn't just strike,
He spoke to the people and treated them like—
Like humans who wanted to live and to breathe,
And gave them a reason to finally leave! 🌍
In the name of democracy, quiet and true,
He showed us exactly what kindness can do!
To save even one is a wonderful thing,
But to save such a crowd makes the whole spirit sing! 🗽
