Lean On Me is the song we sing nightly at our summer camp for Queer youth. It never gets old, and it always makes my heart swell when they’re all singing at the top of their lungs despite how tired they all are.
Oh Dan Rather, thank you for sharing all these wonderful bits of our shared history! I'm 91, and remember so well the Lean On Me early days, and how much it radiated in my life!
Thanks again, Dan! Another excellent reason to smile, especially with the devastating storms that passed thru here in SE WI last Fri, July 3rd. We were all outside helping each other with cleaning-up downed trees, etc.
The previous comments have said it all!
Great song and sentiment of our present dilemma.
Thanks Dan for helping us to stay Steady!

If there were ever a time we need to "Lean On Each Other" it is right now!
Brilliant!
Well, that was just (sniff🥹) wonderful. Thank you for choosing that beautiful piece (sniff 🥹 ❤️).
Thanks for sharing that inspiration. For the moment, I feel better.
Grateful to be able to lean on you, Dad, and The Steady Team and subscribers.

Lean on each other right now too
Thank you, Mr. Rather.
This is one of my go-to songs during troubled times.
I love Bill Withers.
Leaning on each other is what we need now more than ever.
🙏🏻💜
You touched my heart with this one.❤️
Thank you, Dan.
Beautiful and thank you Dan for the beautiful music
Thank you for this one. We really need each other right now!
Is it just me, or will John Legend not age as well as Stevie (not the 13 year old I remember) or Bill Withers in 1972?
