We clearly need to understand what the legal limits of ICE are - as mr Rather points out Real Law Enforcement does not need to be masked. ICE should not be either. We have to insist that the Constitution is upheld - what does tha tmena for ICE? Signed Judicial Warrants and reading people their rights if theya re apprehended? Most likely. We can not fund them with our taxpayr dollars until we know they are upholding the Constitution.

The political pundits know it. Most GOP members of the House and the Senate know it. The entire MSM knows it. This time Trump WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH IT. The murders of Ms. Good and Mr. Pretti are creating a political tsunami across the nation, which will lead to the flipping of the majorities in both the House and the Senate from GOP to Democratic, and to the impeachment of our first Felonious POTUS, Donald John Trump. I, for one, can't wait for the impeachment trial to start.
DHS/Ice also needs to be stopped from breaking car windows, dragging people out of cars, etc. Obviously no more tear gas, LRADS, chemical weapons, rubber bullets. etc.
I have no problem with the masks, there are many ways that can be used to require people to identify themselves when in public. Alternative methods include readily visible and legible name tags and badge numbers, and body cameras which record date, time, and badge number on non erasable media. Employ effective methods for identifying officers and provide stiff penalties for noncompliance including civil and criminal liability. None of this is likely to happen under the tyranny of the T. Rump criminal enterprise, unfortunately.
In the meantime, since primary elections are coming soon, check your registration, vote, and encourage others to do likewise. Remember, if you do not like what they are selling, quit buying it.
The problem with masks is with what it does to the person behind it. Anonymity is emboldening, and that becomes a problem when the masked person feels more powerful.
I’m surprised law enforcement officers across the country aren’t speaking up and having grievances about this issue. They have to show their faces, and they have to follow protocols and are subject to job loss and, worse, being criminally prosecuted or civilly sued if they behaved the way some ICE agents do.
The Democrats are enabling this ride over the cliff into a police state. Face that squarely. They should shut everything down. And lead massive general strikes that stop the work day everywhere.
