I grew up listening to Connie Francis and thought my family was the only one who were such devoted fans - to compare her to Taylor Swift just puts a big smile on my face!! Thank you.
I look forward to Reason to Smile every week. Spent the morning listening to Connie Francis who I knew almost nothing about. I like her voice and have a new appreciating for her after the short bio. Thank you, Steady
Yes indeed Connie Francis was the Taylor Swift of her time. And she sang with everyone! She was graced with a beautiful voice and she was the best in the business for a very long time!
Watch this movie "Alive Inside" which describes the miracle of music and its ability to help dementia patients reconnect with their own lives and the rest of the world. https://youtu.be/lBx2g9iNbEc?si=ctGQADij8E7MteKH
I really enjoy these musical trips back to the past. Thanks Dan, for another treat! We never missed the Ed Sullivan show when I was a kid. My two sisters and I used to sing the songs on long car trips. My father called us the Lennon sisters!
I look forward to your Reason to Smile segments. And hearing Connie Francis with Bobby Darin is always delightful. Thank you.
my my, Mr. Rather, thank you for bringing Connie to so many who seemed not to have heard it. She and Bobby, they were royalty.
Unfortunately Connie's career ended due to very tragic circumstances I don't wish to go into.
So happy to have learned of this “new” old talent. Wonderful
Thank you for the memories with my mom about Connie Francis. She was quite the Italian icon

Another delectable musical break from the madness...thank you, Dan and all!
I was a kid in the 50s when she was at the top of the charts, but my sister's radio was ALWAY on. Loved her.

Thank you for the song. And with Dick Van Dyke turning 100 on Saturday--It does make me feel so young. :>)
I loved “Who’s Sorry Now”.
What is the problem with Spotify?
Thank you Dan and team for all you do and for yet another great Reason to Smile!
