Sad News. I'm not religious at all. However, The Pope died yesterday. I'm 73 and of all the popes in my life, this one was the Proper Real Pope. I Respected and Loved this man, for all the Good, Honesty and Decency that he was. A wonderful and decent man, human, first and foremost above religion and everything else.

This past week I was listening to "HOME" by Dierks Bentley. In addition to "America the Beautiful", I believe "Home" is a song that tells us how we (our ancestors) came to America and built this country - how even through many different challenges over the years, we still love and respect our freedom and the opportunity to be whatever we want - America will always be home to me - the land that I love 💕
I love his rendition of America but right now it brings me to tears. For the wrongest of reasons. Our country is under attack from within and it’s vicious and relentless. My sorrow runs so deep I don’t have words for it.
