I miss seeing you every night. You were a steady voice in many a storm. So lucky and grateful to see you here. Thank you for your dedication to bringing us the truth. 💙
Thank you, Dan and Team Steady - for your brief history on what is arguably my lifelong favorite song. Thank you also for transitioning off of Spotify.
When I was a little girl I heard Mahalia Jackson perform this song. I also love the President Obama historical moment with this wonderful music. Thank you for sharing it and your powerful thoughts. It is so hard not to be depressed, but that will slow us down. Anger has to give us energy now.
The pleas for money are aggravating for sure. But, we have to keep in mind the tech bros, bit oil and big pharma will pour billions into this election.
From what I can tell much of funds raised are to support some pretty great new Democratic candidates and some used for legal fees. I do wish the national DNC would release weekly reports on their national activities. That might make us all feel better!
Thank you for this soothing and moving musical connection, Dan and all. We need this kind of hope after the week from hell...let's hope we come out the other side soon.
Remember when. That song brought my then husband and I together again after much division and sorrow. The organization called Retrouvaille worked with failing marriages. They played this song in one of their sessions. It prompted couples to go back and look at what they had. Oh my, this song is special to my heart. As far as our country goes, WE MUST REMEMBER WHEN WE HAD THE FREEDOMS THAT ARE HOVERING OUT OF OUR REACH NOW. Resist. Fight for Democracy and the honor of the Constitution! We the people cannot be still or silent.
Beautifully done, and a message my soul desperately appreciates and needs after these prior days of such profound sadness.
Thank you! I need this song these days, and I hadn’t heard this lovely version.

Here is my favorite version of Amazing Grace from President Obama.

Thank you, Dan Rather.
May we all continue to unite, to keep hope alive, and pray for God and His will and ways to prevail. These are indeed difficult times.
Thank you, Dan Rather. You sir, are a guiding light in this current dark spot.

Thank you, Dan, for your words & this moment of grace. Peace to you.
Every ‘outrage’ from our politicians about Trump and his Nazi Party is accompanied by a request for money.
People. This country is screwed.
Whatever

Aggravating? Its all I see them doing? What have they actually done? Please

I have always loved the song but would have preferred another performer.
