so we should abandon the GCC?

We must throw out Trump and the Republican Party in a landslide hit in the 2026 election. We mut prohibit PACS and big money to truly allow the election to represent the TOTAL population not just the rich and powerful. I believe the 2024 election was a result of the two party system failure and the big money corruption of this country. Our general standard of living is not supporting the middle class. The extremely rich are killing the country with their political power and influence. The result is Trump and his cult friends pushing us apart.

Tomorrow is No Kings #3 protest day. Find a group and add your presence to it.

No. The β€œmost sacred and powerful right” is the right of free will:

1 / Being able to walk away from men’s political parties, all of them

2 / Being able to say no to the unhealthy masculine, everywhere

3 / Femelkind starting their own political party

4 / Living in a femel-only extended family

5 / Giving birth to only daughters

6 / Buying and Voting Femel, 90% of the times

7 / Free will to say YOU do not dictate to me what is sacred or powerful

My whole life the United States has been a beacon of hope and an example to the rest of the world. Trump has tarnished our image in so many ways as his belligerence just keeps alienating more people and countries. His obvious lies, spoken daily must make his supporters wonder, what next?

Harvey Kravetz's avatar

His supporters? If they were capable of wondering what's next - they aren't. They can't wait for their next serving of Kool Aid.

We haven't won the war(to be clear, NOT the war in Iran) yet. But this is a good indicator we CAN do it. But we have to keep fighting, all the way to the midterms and then until the new congress takes over. The No Kings rally will be huge!

I have always voted in every election, considering voting our obligation of citizenship. If we do not vote we relinquish our right to complain about the outcome.

Thank you, Mr. Rather and staff!

Rachel Bruner's avatar

Except in this instance, when our true votes may not be counted and/or heard.

Here's hoping that we don't just try to sail into the midterms like we did with the 2024 election thinking that "we got this." We don't got this for another 221 days folks. Keep your foot on the gas this time. Please. Thanks again to Dan and Steady for keeping thier feet on the gas pedal. Love you guys! No Kings tomorrow!

If you’re a life long Republican - please this time - vote for a Democrat. We MUST get back to normal- good business model but either way a government focused on its residents - strong social programs so we ALL get a chance in life.

Start with universal healthcare and free or very cheap higher education.

You know, like all the other developed coubtrues.

Unfortunately, it will take years to unwind the mess that tRump has created for this country over the past 14 months!!

Rachel Bruner's avatar

True. Though he really started his β€œcampaign” many years earlier. And there was a time when the Old Don was a registered Democrat.

In WV, for years, Independent voters could choose a ballot -- Democrat or Republican. Recently, the Republican Party in WV has disallowed Independents from choosing a Republican ballot. That's fine with this Independent who may never vote Republican again -- but it seems counterproductive to their goals. Why would they make such a stupid decision? (That's a rhetorical question....)

We need change, the first one in my opinion is, removing all big donor Pacs, especially AIPAC, which is actually foreign. Individual donations with limitations, like all other democratic nations, to avoid bribery and manipulations. I will focus on voting for politicians that choose to not accept big donor money. More are succeeding without. Example, Mayor Mamdani NYC.

The US Supreme Court Justices system must be changed as it is political so far right. Who would have thought they would give a president unlimited powers never expressed in the constitution.

Assuming elections* are still β€œa thing”

*not rigged, or voting rules reverted pre-1960’s….

We must keep pushing. We won't be able to go back to the way we were, but maybe that's a good thing. The resistance to the status quo is alive and well in the No-Kings movement. Join us tomorrow for perhaps the largest protest in our nation's history.
