Thanks! We need to understand how puppets move and dance and can parrot the infamous lies of Trump. And if they stumble, we all know their demise will be seen by all.
This sentence has a typo: "Belief is widespread that Trump will continue to pedal repeatedly debunked lies about the 2020 election." The word is "peddle"- as in a peddler who travels about with wares for sale (per Merriam Webster). It's a nitpick but I respect Mr. Rather very much and hope he agrees the writing should reflect his standards of excellence.
I am writing this post-speech, and I didn't watch it. I hear that he was just rehashing his hurt feelings about the 2020 election. Pathetic! As for those in his orbit who refuse to say that he lost, they are pathetic too!
Thank you as always, Mr. Rather! You have a typo to fix (“peddle,” not “pedal”): “Belief is widespread that Trump will continue to pedal repeatedly debunked lies about the 2020 election.”
The entire administration is a rogues gallery of the sorriest lot of sycophants and utter miscreants imaginable. Were it a product of fiction, no one would be able to suspend disbelief to the degree necessary to grant any buy-in to the narrative we are witnessing in real time and on our own dime. If for no other reason, folks ought to be absolutely outraged, organizing, and taking to the streets in response to the gross abuse of power and completely criminal executive overreach of an individual (for Trump is not a lad worthy of being called a "man", by a y measure and despite all of his bullfruity bloviating & bluster) whose criminality and sociopathy has been on display, openly, for the full span of his life. Those who whine: "I didn't vote for this" are either liars or fools or both. Trump, to his discredit, said exactly what he was about and who he is for--himself and himself alone. Even the benefits and boons that fall to his family are incidental "happy accidents". He does nothing but for his own enrichment and aggrandizement. That is the whole of his pathetic "brand". He is as cheap and insubstantial as one of those foreign sweatshop produced dress shirts he put his name to and oeddled in the Aughts during his earlier nonreality show days. Trump is a chump, a dunce, a felon, a fool, a blowhaed, and a buffoon, to be sure, but a dangerous menace because a swath of the populace, with legitimate concerns for the future viability in this big ol' world, saw fit to throw their support and pin their hopes to a charlatan of the very lowest order. He told these people, openly, that he liked that his supporters where dumb and credulous and that, after election day 2024, he had no further use or regard for them. So, to all the cultists of the maga faithful, now that your Dear Leader has weaponized that great, giant middle finger you flipped to all of "woke" America and crammed it up your collective, metaphorical arse, I ask, echoing the words of the great Kris Kristofferson: "Was the going up worth the coming down?"
I think it's very interesting that he's so convinced the 2020 elections were tampered with, when he and his administration were in power at the time. His election officials, his DOJ, his FBI. But he has no problem with the results of the 2016 elections, which were held under the Obama administration, nor the 2024 elections held under the Biden administration.
... but of course, if he won, no problem! if he lost, big problem! and now he's working on making it a big problem for every state's election officials, from secretary of state all the way down to poll worker. It's all or nothing in his world. Let's see he mobilises national guard units to surround every polling place as backup for his ICE agents....
Feel free to copy/paste the following in any discussion of the 2020 election:
__________
If you’re claiming D’s stole the 2020 election, you’re saying that, in the most closely scrutinized election in history:
— D’s were so incredibly devious they managed to coordinate election fraud across multiple key states, each with an independent voting system;
AND
— hid it so skillfully that multiple independent audits & investigations, some run by R’s, AND over 60 court cases thrown out by judges, some appointed by R administrations or even by T himself, were unable to produce any evidence;
AND
— despite being so masterful at subterfuge, the D’s then somehow failed to apply that same prodigious level of expertise to Senate elections, which would have given them full control (or maybe they just forgot?).
Or did we just suddenly lose all our skilIs after that amazing achievement? I mean, don’t get me wrong, we appreciate the compliment of such a high estimate of our cleverness, but honestly, we’re just not that brilliant.
“It is interesting to note however, that this speech is also a test of sorts for the TV networks. Will they or won’t they break into programming to broadcast the speech live?”
It’s a glimmer of hope that NBC & ABC passed the test, declining to interrupt programming to air the speech live — finally realizing that if they amplify his lies, they’re part of the problem. Better late than never.
With their shameful treatment of 60 Minutes, CBS was pretty much a lost cause anyway, unless/until there are major changes in management.
Does Todd Blanche assume he can break the law and stay out of prison because Pam Bondi broke the law and has yet to be arrested? Republicans protect wealthy pedophiles because scores of Republicans—including Donald Trump—are identified as pedophiles in the Epstein files. However, regardless of Party affiliation, every customer, every associate, and every guest, of Jeffrey Epstein that trafficked, or pimped, or raped a child —and every employee of every government entity who knew of the rapes and covered them up—must be identified, indicted, prosecuted, convicted, and thrown into prison. And that includes President Donald Trump, just fired Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Interim Attorney General, Todd Blanche.
America’s convicted criminal President stands accused of sexual assault by 26 adult women. Multiple courts have found Donald Trump liable for the sexual assault of E. Jean Carroll, and ordered him to pay her $ millions in compensation and penalties.
Trump is also accused of slapping and violently raping a 13-year-old child provided to him by his good friends—the pedophile sex traffickers, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Three FBI depositions—(taken under oath from a second victim who testified that between 13 and 15 years of age, she was raped by Donald Trump)—are now in the hands of both the DOJ and Congress. In spite of the existence of these depositions, Interim Attorney General Todd Blanche has announced that his DOJ will not investigate Donald Trump for the rapes.
Blanche, one of Trump’s personal attorneys, has also announced that under his direction the Department of Justice will continue to ignore the law passed by Congress on November 18, 2025 that directed the Department of Justice to release all of the Epstein files no later than December 19, 2025.
In direct violation of this law, half of the Epstein files were withheld from Congress by the DOJ during Pam Bondi’s tenure as Attorney General. Todd Blanche has made clear his intent to continue the coverup.
If—(in the millions of pages of documents the DOJ refuses to release to Congress)—Bondi and Blanche have covered-up evidence that Donald Trump is guilty of raping children, they must be charged with Obstruction of Justice.
PREDICTION: Evidence of Trump’s crimes against children will surface and topple the Trump Family Crime Syndicate; Trump, Bondi and Blanche will be prosecuted, convicted and thrown into prison.
Your sleeze bag bs is just that. It sounds like a broken record from forever ago. The so called “slush fund” was to actually help people who were unjustly arrested and had their lives destroyed by a corrupt January 6 panel.
Todd Blanche is the most effective AG EVER especially when compared to Biden’s loser Merritt Garland who did nothing for justice. It’s been incredible to see what Blanche had already done . I’m surprised you didn’t touch on Jack Smith, the unelected pyscho lawyer chosen by Garland who went into the phone records and text messages and emails of many Republican politicians for no legitimate reason but to snoop . This man should already be in jail but you would say Trumps vindictiveness.
Trump has been the most impactful president we’ve had since T.Roosevelt. The stories I see on the Democrat arm of the networks NBC, CBS,ABC,CNN, MSNOW continually brainwash their audience with lies about Trump. But everyday on FOX we see stories about how fraudsters stole money thru various government programs that was never noticed until Trump put teams on the job to uncover and recover some of it. His goal is to take corruption out of the system. Amazing how Democrats never see that.
“Trump has been the most impactful president we’ve had since T.Roosevelt.”
I’ll give you that one, though it’s not clear why you think that helps make your point. TR was the first president to use antitrust laws extensively to successfully break up large corporate monopolies that were destroying the free market system, & also the one who started a national movement to care for the environment, establishing the extensive national parks system we have today.
The only reason DJT’s impact comes close is because he’s actively & deliberately undoing all that.
There is help available. Please avail yourself of it. I will agree on one point: Merritt Garland did not do his job. If he did, we wouldn't be in the position we are in today.
Thank you again. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't find the truth somewhere now. Interesting series on the Prime network. It's "Dictator: The Hitler Interviews". What was interesting in it was how he consolidated power. A lesson for us, maybe?
Please use humans to do the voice of your articles. AI is a dead voice.

What a joke!
Thank you for always telling us the truth. He's NEVER EVER going to get over losing, he'll be claiming he won bigly until the day he dies.
